It's Coronation Day!
To celebrate the King’s Coronation, the children were served their lunch by our wonderful Westgate staff - just like real Kings and Queens! We were AMAZED by everyone’s efforts with our whole school home learning project. Take a look at the photographs below to see how fantastic all the home made crowns were!
Many of the children enjoyed a British lunch of fish and chips with a royal coronation cupcake for dessert. Delicious 
As well as their royal lunch, the children spent the afternoon learning about monarchs from British history.
Each year group learnt about the following monarchs:
Reception - King Charles III
Year 1 - Queen Elizabeth II
Year 2 - King Henry VIII
Year 3 - Queen Elizabeth I
Year 4 - James I
Year 5 - Queen Victoria
Year 6 - King George VI
