Child Health - First Aid
We take every care to ensure the safety of all our pupils but occasionally accidents can happen.
If your child accidentally bumps their head we will administer first aid, telephone parents, attach a red wrist-band to the child stating the date and time of the incident and issue a bumped head leaflet.
If your child suffers a minor injury i.e. grazes themselves we will administer first aid as normal.
If your child suffers a significant injury we will administer first aid and telephone parents immediately.
Please remember that our First Aiders are not medical professionals but are trained to administer basic first aid. A record of all first aid incidents are kept and reviewed regularly.
